So, nun bin ich wieder unterwegs, allerdings diesmal zu viert, was ganz anders ist. Allerdings macht man dann auch schon mal Sachen, die man allein nicht unternehmen wuerde.
Leider hatten wir mit dem Flieger einen Fehlstart, was mir wieder eine Menge Angst eingejagt hat.
Hier in Hanoi angekommen, moechte man erstmal die Heizung ausstellen, aber geht ja nicht. Werden wohl so an die 40 Grad hier sein, staendig ist man klatschnass, kleine Pfuetzen bilden sich unter einem, wenn man zu lange stehen bleibt! Der Verkehr hier ist moerderisch, 1000 Mopeds, alle fahren gleichzeitg auf die Kreuzung zu! Als Fussgaenger musss man einfach langsam und diagonal die Strasse ueberqueren, bloss niemals stehenbleiben, dann gibt es einen Unfall!

Heute waren wir in einem Schlangendorf und haben ein Schlangenmenue bestellt. Ploetzklich stand der Kellnner vor uns, ein Messer in der einen, eine Kobra in der anderen hand, dann hat er sie aufgeschlitzt, das Blut in Glaeser tropfen lassen, die Gallenfluessigkeit in andere Glaeser. Dann schnitt er das pulsierende Herz heraus und wollte es uns als eine Art Cocktailkirsche in unserem Blut oder Gallesaft servieren!! Wir waren ziemlich geschockt, denn das hatten wir nicht geahnt! Zum Nachtisch sollte es Schnaps geben,die Flasche war voll mit eingelegten Schlangenpenissen!! Niedlich und schuppig, wie die Schlangehaut selbst. Roch nicht sehr gut und schmeckte nicht viel besser!!
Hunde kann man hier auch essen, aber zum Glueck nicht zu dieser Jahreszeit!
Heute Nacht geht es mit dem Zug in die Berge, wo es hoffentlich etwas kuehler ist. Dort wollen wir ein bisschen Trecking machen zu den Bergvoelkern.
Hoffe, es liest jemand diese Seite und schreibt mal einen Gruss, mir grummelt gerade ein wenig die giftige Kobra in den Gedaermen.

 

Sapa

So, nun sind wir in Sapa in den Bergen nahe der chinesischen Grenze. Hier oben ist es nicht ganz so heiss, vor allem nachts ist es angenehm kuehl. Gestern haben wir eine Trecking Tour von 16 km gemacht, leider hatte ich die falschen Schuhe an (Tevas). Es ging ueber Stock und Stein, balancieren zwischen den Reisfeldern, steile glitschige Abhaenge hinauf und hinunter!! Da es nachts gewittert hatte, war alles nass und matschig. Leider ist es hier schon sehr touristisch und die Leute von den Bergvoelkern belagern dich ueberall um ihre wunderschoenen Handarbeiten zu verkaufen.
Gerade bist du mit letzter Kraft auf den naechsten Berg geklettert, hochrot und schweissnass, da taucht so ein Muetterchen vor dir auf und sagt: Buy this! Da ist man nicht so richtig in Kaufstimmung. Die Leute selbst, vor allem die Kinder flitzen wie kleine Gaszellen die Berge rauf und runter, mit dem kleinen Geschwisterchen auf dem Ruecken.
Nachdem wir uns von der Schlange erholt hatten, ueberraschte uns hier auf dem Markt ein fein zerlegter Hund!! Kopf und Pfoten gut zu erkennen! Den haben wir natuerlich nicht probiert. Dafuer aber den sogenannten Reiswein, der aber offenbar ein Reisschnaps ist. Heute morgen geht es uns allen nicht ganz so gut. Ich kann sowieso kaum laufen, da ich einen wahnsinnigen Muskelkater habe.
Zum Fruehstueck gab es heute die koestliche vietnamesiche Nudelsuppe und gegrilltes Haehnchenfleisch mit Ingwer, Lecker!! Das Essen ist hier nicht so scharf, aber sehr lecker. Wir hoffen staendig, dass sie uns nicht irgendetwas untermischen!!
Mit dem Nachtzug geht es heute Abend zurueck nach Hanoi und dann weiter nach Hoi An in Zentralvietnam.

 

Muskelkater

So ergeht es einem , wenn man wenig Sport treibt! Jetzt, nach 5 Tagen laesst mein Muskelkater endlich nach. Die ersten Tage konnte ich ueberhaupt nicht laufen!!
Zurueck in Hanoi haben wir festgestellt, dass wir von unserem Hotel total abgezockt worden sind, so geht es einem in Vietnam leider sehr haeufig. Man muss staendig auf der Hut sein, selbst im kleinsten Kaff! Am ersten Tag in Hanoi wurde uns schon mal unsere Gemeinschaftskasse auf der Strasse geklaut, wahrscheinlich von einer Obstverkaeuferin, die sich ganz dreist , auch noch von uns hat fotografieren lassen!
am letzten Tag haben wir noch eine sehr schoene Ecke in alt Hanoi entdeckt, mit kleinen Gassen, chinesichen Tempeln und ganz wenig Verkehr. Hier fanden wir dann auch unsere Unterkunft, zu der uns unser Taxifahrer leider nicht gebracht hatte, nach dem Motto, alles belegt, wir haben da noch ein zweites (wesentlich teureres Hotel). Die hatten natuerlich gar nichts miteinander zu tun.

Nun ja, es gibt aber in Hanoi auch schoene Ecken und sehr guenstiges Essen und Bier! Manchmal kostet ein grosses Glas nur 30 Pfennig! Cocktail 1 DM 50. Wir rechnen wieder mit Mark, ist einfacher. Die Altstadt von Hanoi ist nach Handwerken bzw. Waren aufgeteilt. In einer Strasse gibt es z.B. nur Saerge, in einer anderen nur Bambusleitern, dann wieder chinesische Medizin (eingelegte Geckos, Schlangen, Kraehen usw.) oder Grabbeigaben aus Papier und Pappe, von der Torte ueber Papierdollar bis zum Ventilator, damit es die Toten recht gemuetlich haben.
Nun sind wir mit dem Nachtzug nach Hoi An gefahren.

 

Hoi An

Hoi An gehoert zum Weltkulturerbe, nur leider sieht man nicht so viel von den schoenen alten Haeusern, weil die Geschaeftsfronten alles dominieren. Ueberall haben sich Schneider niedergelassen, die dich nicht in Ruhe vorbei gehen lassen. Das ist schon serh laestig. Allerdings kann man sich hier fuer einen Spottpreis eine komplette Garderobe nahen lassen. Horst hat gerade einen Anzug in Auftrag gegeben. Ansonsten ist hier alles auf westliche Touristen eingerichtet, was uns schon wieder nervt.
Gestern haben wir eine Radtour durch Reisfelder und kleine Doerfer der Umgebung gemacht. Das hat uns wieder etwas entschaedigt. Doch selbst in einem ganz kleinen Dorf wollten sie uns beim Kauf von Wasser richtig abzocken, immer das Dollarzeichen in den Augen. Ein paar Kilometer weiter wurden wir mit einem lekceren Nudelgericht (tragbarer stand) fuer 50 Pfennig entschaedigt. Unter den Augen der halben Dorfbevoelkerung hockten wir auf den Zwergenbaenken unter einem niedrigen Dach. Alle Kinder starrten uns mit grossen Augen an. Ein paar aeltere Frauen mit rotschwarzen Zaehnen vom Betelnusskauen schauten sehr misstrauisch. Eine andere Frau kam mit einem Hobel in der hand und wollte uns offenbar mit diesem Moerderinstrument die Beine enthaaren!! Es war und nicht klar, ob dies ein Scherz sein sollte!!!
Morgen fahren wir jedenfall weiter nach Laos, eine 2 bis 3 taegige Bustour wird uns bevorstehen, bevor wir den Sueden, die 4000 Inseln im Mekong erreichen werden.
Heute liegt noch die Besichtigung der Marmorberge an, in denen es viele Hoehlen mit Buddhistischen Statuen gibt.
